Defibrillators

Community Defibrillators

There are two defibrillators in the parish. One is located on the front outside wall of the Poppin Shop in Long Marston. One is located on an outside wall of Meon Vale Leisure Centre. Both are available 24/7.

Each is kept in a locked container which can be accessed by dialling 999 and speaking to the ambulance service, who will give you the unlock code. The defibrillator is completely automatic, giving verbal instructions to take the user through the process step by step. Anyone can do this; no training is required.
